The 'Greenest' Skyscraper In NYC Is Actually The Least Green

New York's Bank of America Tower, a sprawling, 1,200-foot skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, was lauded as a triumph of green engineering when it opened in 2010. But as the New Republic is reporting today, the building doesn't come close to living up to that hype: Sam Roudman writes that "the Bank of America Tower produces more greenhouse gases and uses more energy per square foot than any comparably sized office building in Manhattan."
